Stainless Steel Sloped Top Disconnects from Hubbell

Hubbell Wiring Device-Kellems is excited to announce its Circuit-Lock® Sloped Top Stainless Steel Disconnects, engineered to shed water and debris. A Sloped Top Disconnectcompact footprint allows for ample wiring space and hassle-free installation.

Designed to be easily cleaned – and to stay clean – enclosures are made of non-porous 304 stainless steel. They survive frequent washdowns, and are ideal for environments requiring sanitary conditions. Horizontal surfaces have been eliminated, allowing for NSF International certification for hygienic applications in food and beverage processing.

“The team really kept a strong focus on best practices in hygienic design when engineering this product.  The 15-degree sloped and rounded top assists with runoff.  The sleek design minimizes dirt and debris harbors.  It even has an UL Witnessed IP69k rating which essentially simulates getting cleaned by a pressure washer with extremely hot water.” says Roy Itzler, Director Industrial Marketing for Hubbell Wiring Device-Kellems.

Available in 30A, 60A, and 100A, the Circuit-Lock Sloped Disconnect can accommodate up to two auxiliary contacts.

It also features a high-visibility red OSHA lockout/tagout handle that is protected by a full shroud. To further ensure safety, the cover cannot be removed once the switch is engaged in the “on” position.

Because of their design, Circuit-Lock Sloped Disconnects are ideal for pharmaceutical, meat processing, conveyor, food and beverage processing, and corrosive applications.
